Rothenburg is a treasure in Franconia. Located at the heart of Bavaria, the renaissance city was a stage for the religious war during the Protestant Reformation. The Protestant king Gustav Adorf, from Sweden, lived in the city for a couple of months, during the 30 years war in the XVI century.

Nowadays the city attracts people from all over the world because its lovely streets, its Christmas market and its museums.
On the way there we do a short photo-stop at the middle-age castle Harburg and continue through the Romantic Road passing by Diekensbuhl (non-stop) until Rothenburg. In Rothenburg you will have time for Lunch and walk around.
